Holy long time with no update!
We have safely arrived back in Vancouver after a month of music, camping and roadtripping. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the shows! We’re mostly hanging out in Vancouver for the summer, with the exception of a show on August 14 in whistler. Our new record is getting mixed starting August 17, and we absolutely cannot wait for that to begin. In the meantime we’ll be tying up all sorts of loose ends with regards to the new album, and hopefully arranging for another tour in the fall to coincide with the album’s release on October 13.

I’m tired of writing the exact same update 900 times for facebook/myspace/twitter/facedanceparty/narcissistsRus/etc.

So instead, I will take this picture of our new vinyl EP with my blackberry:

Just got home from our trip to Calgary opening up for City and Colour on wednesday…it was amazing. Thank you to all the rad people we met in cowtown. Also thanks to those in Prince George who came to see us the following Friday, that was a wonderful night.
Our drive home from PG was one of the most beautiful drives we have ever been on. We took the route through Pemberton rather than diverting to Hope, and were treated to the most amazing scenery BC has to offer, including a Grizzly Bear…
But that sort of wildlife was no match for the obstacles in Calgary. Check out this gem:

We are still buzzing from last nights show at the Commodore with Mother Mother, Gang Violence and Hannah Georgas. It was a wonderful night, and we’d like to thank everyone who was there to watch us lose our Commodore viginity…Thank you! Check out a great review of the show at www.ChippedHip.com.

What a tour! Thanks so much to everyone who came out to the shows, we had a blast in every single city. It was so great to meet a lot of you, and we can’t wait to see you again. We fly out to Ottawa for a show at Zaphod’s on April 25th, then we’re back in Vancouver rehearsing for our Commodore debut on May 9. Hannah Georgas will be joining us for a few tunes that evening, it’s going to be awesome.

Just played to a wonderfully packed house in Saskatoon, aka “the Paris of the Prairies”. I would have to agree. Strep throat is on the mend, but a struggle nonetheless.
